Project Due Dates and Important Information

Week 2: August 27" - Students must have collected leaves, twigs, small flowers, bark from trees, etc. to use in creating their first project. The project will center on using what God has created to develop a special scene of our own. We will also use some water color paints for some special touches.

Week 3: September 9" - Students will begin gluing the leaves, twigs, small flowers, bark from trees, etc.. to create their special scenery. Water color paints will be applied for special touches.

Week 4: September 10" - FIRST PROJECT DUE! Students must complete their projects this week to remain on target with class quarterly goals. If your child does not complete this project at this week's class meeting, he/she in not likely to receiving a passing grade at the end of the first (1 S`) quarter.

Upon going home, students are encouraged to gather more leaves, twigs, small flowers, bark from trees, etc. to use in creating another project that will be worked on and developed for convention. Students who are nine (9) years old will participate in National Student Convention this year.

Week 5: September 17" - Students projects from Week 4 will be evaluated and best works will be placed on display. Students must have their selected materials for Week 6.

 Week 6: September 24r' - Through hands on experience already gained, students will begin to design and organize materials for their next and final project of the 1 S` Quarter.

Week 7: October 8'" - Students continue to work on final projects.

 Week 8: October 15" - (SECOND PROJECT DUE!) Student must finalize their final projects at this class meeting!

 Week 9: October 22"d - Students will present their projects before the class. Each student will be evaluated based on creativity, and time spent on project. Final grades as based on 30% for Assignments and 70% for completed Projects
