PARENT ORIENTATION

Seven Steps for a Healthy Life
(Extracted from Greater Health God’s Way)
1. PEACEFUL LIVING – try to deal appropriately with anger, stress, and frustration
2. PRAYER – connecting with the Source of Life each day
3. PURE FOOD – Eat food the way God made it. Avoid white sugar, white flour, canned food, fat, soft drinks, artificial colourings & flavourings
4. PROPER EXERCISE – aids in circulation and overall good health
5. PLENTY OF WATER – about 4 – 6 glasses a day
6. PERIODS OF FRESH AIR & SUNSHINE – play & perspiration! Aids in vitamin D intake as well as promoting good sleeping afterwards.
7. PERFECT REST – Sleep 8-12 hours a day, according to the age of your child. (10-18 year olds need between 8½ and 9¼ hours of sleep every night.)
